Steps to gain the title of Finnish Champion
FIN KVA – Finnish Working Dog Champion (Suomen käyttövalio)
Australian Cattle Dogs gain a Finnish Working Dog Champion status after three first prizes, or if they been judged three times as “Very good” (which is 90% of maximum points)in the same Working- or Search and Rescue Dog- test from the highest class during two different years and by two different judges. The dog has to be 15 months of age, when he needs at least a second price in a dog show.
FIN MVA – Finnish Champion (Suomen muotovalio)
The Australian Cattle Dog will be Finnish Champion after three certificates in shows by three different judges, one of the certificates has to be gained after 24 months of age and the dog must also have gained 70% of maximum points in a Working dog trial or Search and Rescue- test in class 1 or A, or he must have passed the Dog Mental Test.
According to FCI rules an Australian Cattle Dog cannot be granted a CACIB if he competes in the Working Dog Class.
The International Champion title is granted after gaining 4 CACIBs in 3 different countries by three different judges. Between these CACIBs there must be a time gap of at least 1 year and 1 day.
